Thomas and Friends with "My Lucas"

On Thursday March 12th Lucas and I had a day together. First we went to lunch at none other than Arctic Circle. Lucas loves the playground there. He met and played with some new friends. After lunch we drove to the E-center where I had gotten tickets for "Thomas and Friends" We got there about 30 minutes early. Just in time to get some souvenirs and look around a bit. (He chose to get a light that turns on and Thomas spins when a button is pushed) After climbing lots and lots of stairs up and down we found our seats. Lucas was so excited. We could see some of the trains from where we were sitting even before the show started. The show was a musical with about 7 people singing and dancing. And much to Lucas' dismay Thomas could talk. (His mouth even moved) We really got involved in the show. You better believe it, this grandma was singing doing all of the actions and yelling out loud "Push Thomas Push". It was so much fun watching Lucas as he watched the trains on stage. What a wonderful time we had together. He is such a sweet boy. He is still talking about the show. It's great to be a Grandma!

How fun is that! My girls aren't familiar with Thomas, but if the Princesses ever come into town- Let me know! Their lives revolve around the princesses. Lucas is such a cutie. I can't wait to go to the pool with Nat, Lucas and the girls this summer. We had so much fun together last year.
