Opening up the "Cozy Cabin"

On Thursday April 16th Alan and I took a trip to Island Park to open the cabin. There was 4 feet of snow around the cabin with temperatures as low as 25 degrees in the morning. It was beautiful. Very blue skies and green forest trees. We went to West Yellowstone on Friday for opening day. We saw a lot of wildlife, beautiful scenery and we went to Quake Lake. Alan did some fishing in a river and had great success. (I was watching him through the binoculars) We had a nice lunch in Yellowstone. Watched movies at night and just enjoyed being together. The only down side of the trip was that the water pump was frozen so you guessed it. NO WATER. Oh well, it was still great fun. It is my kind of camping.
